You all may recognize this model, Becky from our recent glamour shoot that you can view here. She is a local up and coming model who needed some more headshots and such for her modeling portfolio (that weren’t as fashion forward as the recent shoot she part in) so we headed out in the beautiful evening light with a few different outfits and looks that she needs for certain modeling jobs. I met Dayna this week as she just graduated from college in May. With a degree in journalism, her mom wanted to capture this transition in her daughter’s life. She has a beautiful smile and great eyes to photograph! Enjoy your sneak peek Lauren, and congratulations on graduating!!

Meet baby C. She was a whole 10 days old and pure newborn goodness. Her mom told me that she still sleeps most of the day, and so it didn’t matter what time we had her photo shoot because she would for sure be sleepy. Well, baby C had her own agenda and was awake most of the time I was there 
Luckily, she is a beauty and with a little patience and love from her mommy, I think we got some adorable photos. Enjoy your sneak peek W family!

Today I got to meet up again with Carter. I photographed his family back in October for family pictures but today all of the attention was on Carter who just turned one year old in April! He is such a handsome little guy and was so sweet Enjoy your sneak peek!

You may recognize this beautiful woman from the previous family sneak peek. Megan is a professional makeup artist whom I work with for weddings and boudoir shoots. We also took some head shots for her new website while we were together this weekend. I just returned home from a wonderful 4 day trip to Las Vegas for WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) Convention! It was such an amazing trip. I spent the time with some of my very good friends and fellow photographers from around the country. I also had a wonderful time at the trade show and saw some inspirational photographers speak. We had several shoots together and also had a fun time out on the town Here are just a few highlights from our trip!

And these 2 were taken by the very talented Giovanna McBryde of Bell’Anima Photography in Palm Beach County, Florida. She was great enough to take a picture for me for my blog and also shared a group shot to post!
I can’t wait to go back next year!

We had a big snow here in Indianapolis this weekend and today we decided to take Bella out in it. She seemed to enjoy it more than last year, although she preferred to be held by her Daddy. Also, the dogs are sporting their Colts jerseys to cheer on our Indianapolis Colts in the Superbowl today!! GO COLTS!
