I got to meet up this past weekend with another baby on my baby plan this weekend, Chloe. I haven’t seen her since her newborn session and she has grown so much! Adorable and full of smiles and doing well with her head lifts

Ever since I met Hannah, I knew their wedding was going to be something special. A country girl at heart marrying a farmer, their day was filled with love and kindness. Jerry and I talked about how kind everyone was that we met through this couple, and I still must say it again Those of you visiting this blog entry who were a part of Hannah & Karl’s special day… THANK YOU for being so wonderful to us while we were there and making it easy to do our job
Their wedding took place in their hometown and the reception took place at the farm that Karl runs… but I am not lying when I tell you that when I walked into the reception hall that my mouth dropped open when I saw the decorations! You would have never known this place was normally filled with farming equipment!
Here we go.. Karl & his guys…
Did I mention that Karl is tall? Yes, its true. But I’m telling you that they make the perfect couple.
And some bling…
Hannah’s dress had a corset, and those things are not easy to figure out. We played … “how many bridesmaids does it take to figure out a dress?” hahaha And look… they even have directions 
BEAUTIFUL!

..this photo reminds me of something I would find in a shoebox of old photos at my grandmother’s house… just something about it. And it’s for that reason that I like it

This is 6 day old Layton, sweet as he can be. You may remember his parents from their maternity session earlier this summer. Layton is a distant cousin of mine as well which made this session even more special for me His daddy is a race car driver, so we had to incorporate that into his photo shoot. When I talked to Melissa & Ryan about their engagement session, we knew a couple of things for sure. They are getting married on New Years Day, so their engagement session was going to include warmth and sunshine. We also knew that we wanted to incorporate Ryan’s awesome car in the shoot. You may remember Marissa, since she is one of my 2011 senior representatives. We took some of her rep shots back in February but we got together again last night for her regular full senior shoot. We had so much fun on the golf course as she showed off her skills. I admit that I know absolutely nothing about golf and when Marissa started throwing out terms about it I just shook my head and said “ok!” haha It was a very steamy evening but she was an excellent sport, and I am so glad that we did the golf shots right before the sun set. I had so much fun at this session! These two kiddos were a photographer’s dream — beautiful, photogenic and extremely well behaved who also loved having their picture taken. Who could ask for anything more? It was a really hazy evening at first but after awhile the clouds broke and the sun was low and beautiful. My goal with this family session was to tell a story and express to you their bond together. Enjoy your sneak peek, it was a pleasure meeting you all!

This family was celebrating some very special milestones. Megan and her husband are celebrating 10 years of marriage, their oldest son is turning 4 and their youngest son is turning 2 all within a couple of months of each other.
