When I saw the forecast for Carissa and Jeff’s wedding day I was worried! There was an 80 percent chance of rain. Those of you that know me know that we prefer to shoot outdoors in different locations and use different light, textures etc. My clients like it too– it’s one of the reasons they come to us Well, thankfully my prayer was heard and the rain held off earlier in the day so we were able to take some photos outdoors — at least pre-ceremony! Carissa and Jeff did not see each other beforehand, which I also totally get! I was also one of those brides when I got married who didn’t want to see my groom before I walked down the aisle. During the ceremony we heard the thunder and the pouring down rain– but that didn’t stop these two from getting married and looking beautiful and happy in love! They were married in the church where Jeff’s dad is the pastor — how special is that??!
