It’s pretty unusual these days to actually find a picture of myself since I’m always on the other side of the camera. However, my husband Jerry and I went out this weekend to play with a new lens and some new lighting techniques. You all may recognize this model, Becky from our recent glamour shoot that you can view here. She is a local up and coming model who needed some more headshots and such for her modeling portfolio (that weren’t as fashion forward as the recent shoot she part in) so we headed out in the beautiful evening light with a few different outfits and looks that she needs for certain modeling jobs. Meet baby C. She was a whole 10 days old and pure newborn goodness. Her mom told me that she still sleeps most of the day, and so it didn’t matter what time we had her photo shoot because she would for sure be sleepy. Well, baby C had her own agenda and was awake most of the time I was there 
Luckily, she is a beauty and with a little patience and love from her mommy, I think we got some adorable photos. Enjoy your sneak peek W family!

Today I got to meet up again with Carter. I photographed his family back in October for family pictures but today all of the attention was on Carter who just turned one year old in April! He is such a handsome little guy and was so sweet Enjoy your sneak peek!

I just returned home from a wonderful 4 day trip to Las Vegas for WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) Convention! It was such an amazing trip. I spent the time with some of my very good friends and fellow photographers from around the country. I also had a wonderful time at the trade show and saw some inspirational photographers speak. We had several shoots together and also had a fun time out on the town Here are just a few highlights from our trip!

I can’t wait to go back next year!
