Hello, you found me! My name is Mandy and I am the primary photographer of Mandy Leonards Photography, but I often come along with Jerry, my husband to work as a husband and wife team. We have one daughter at the moment, her name is Isabella. You can be assured that I never come alone—there is too much stuff. Photography to me is the thing that gets me excited and gives me butterflies. I have had other jobs in my life and none of them have given me the same feeilng of excitement and fulfillment as photography does.

You can expect us to get to know each other well. I have built my business on not only technical skill and artistic vision, but also relationships. My goal is get to know you well enough so that your personality comes through in your photos and the love that you share together is captured. You won’t have a stranger shooting your wedding day! You can expect me to stand on a step stool, brush your hair out of your face and move you around as I need to. You can also expect us to laugh together, smile together and you may even see me shed a tear during your wedding vows. This is real life and my passion, and ultimately I am here to make sure your day is captured just the way you want it to be.

My strength is a mixture of many different types of photography styles. I prefer to tell a story with my photos, and not have an overabundance of posed pictures. We will still take the traditional portraits that are needed for families, but we will spend a great deal of time together discussing what you want your story to look like. It is not uncommon for me to use multiple locations for your wedding photos or to take pictures together throughout the day to capture different light and settings.

Photography lasts a lifetime. The flowers wilt, the cake gets eaten. The hair gets washed the next day…. But the photos you get will last forever and will be the thing you look at year after year. I hope that besides taking your photographs, we can get to know each other and capture your day perfectly.
