I just returned home from a wonderful 4 day trip to Las Vegas for WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) Convention! It was such an amazing trip. I spent the time with some of my very good friends and fellow photographers from around the country. I also had a wonderful time at the trade show and saw some inspirational photographers speak. We had several shoots together and also had a fun time out on the town 
Here are just a few highlights from our trip!

JT is a senior at Roncalli High School this year and is planning on going to college in the fall to study engineering. He plays lacrosse and football and I almost got the uniforms mixed up during the photo shoot! Good thing I’m not the one on the field and just the girl behind the camera

So you’d think being a photographer that I’d have some wonderful family pictures of my own family, huh? Well, not so much. If you are always the one on the other side of the camera it is quite difficult to get good pictures yourself — and the bad thing is knowing as much as I know, I cannot bring myself to go to a studio that I don’t like their quality of work. Lucky for me, I have an AMAZING friend and mentor, Christine, of Krysia Photography. She is based out Ohio, just north of Cincinnati. She is so incredibly talented and I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have her shoot my family for me. If you are in Ohio and need a photographer, you must contact her!!
I also need to mention how wonderful a friend that Christine is. She is one of the most caring people I know and we got to know each other when we were pregnant. Her daughter Sophie is the same age as my Bella. She also has a 3 year old named Bella as well.
Thank you Christine for being such an amazing support in my life, a fantastic photographer and sharing your talent and knowledge with me. I wouldn’t be where I am today in my photography career if it weren’t for you!

I had the pleasure of capturing the Jones’ today. They are a beautiful family but I sure had my work cut out for me with their two furry kids Tonka and Cayenne as well! The dogs were very well behaved, but every time we had Jasmine, their daughter looking at the camera, one of the dogs would get away. We would get the dogs situated and then Jasmine would run away! We had a wonderful time though and captured some great images. Thank you J family for letting me into your hearts and home! Enjoy your sneak peek!
