These two are very dear friends of mine, and these photos really speak to me. Dan just recently beat cancer… which really takes a special and strong person. Also, let me tell you something about Dan. He is probably the one person in the world that you would least expect to get sick… he has to be the most health conscious person I know; he works out daily and doesn’t fill his body with chemicals. And yet, these two had to go through something in their 20s that none of us expected. They went through it together, supporting one another and staying strong. They love each other more each day and I truly think you can see that when you see them together. I took family photos for them this spring with their dogs and while they are a cute family… there was definitely something different in their eyes and body language at this shoot. Love. Passion. Friendship. Strength.
