JT is a senior at Roncalli High School this year and is planning on going to college in the fall to study engineering. He plays lacrosse and football and I almost got the uniforms mixed up during the photo shoot! :) Good thing I’m not the one on the field and just the girl behind the camera ;) Enjoy your sneak peek JT! You were great to photograph!

I was so excited to meet Cindy and Greg today. They are such a cute couple and they were so much fun to photograph. We took their engagement pictures in the quaint village of Zionsville and we also had to include Cindy’s horse Bean! I can’t wait for to capture their wedding for them in December! Enjoy your sneak peek, Cindy & Greg!

My own Family Pictures

November 8, 2009

So you’d think being a photographer that I’d have some wonderful family pictures of my own family, huh? Well, not so much. If you are always the one on the other side of the camera it is quite difficult to get good pictures yourself — and the bad thing is knowing as much as I know, I cannot bring myself to go to a studio that I don’t like their quality of work. Lucky for me, I have an AMAZING friend and mentor, Christine, of Krysia Photography. She is based out Ohio, just north of Cincinnati. She is so incredibly talented and I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have her shoot my family for me. If you are in Ohio and need a photographer, you must contact her!!

I also need to mention how wonderful a friend that Christine is. She is one of the most caring people I know and we got to know each other when we were pregnant. Her daughter Sophie is the same age as my Bella. She also has a 3 year old named Bella as well.

Thank you Christine for being such an amazing support in my life, a fantastic photographer and sharing your talent and knowledge with me. I wouldn’t be where I am today in my photography career if it weren’t for you!

Today I got a new sample product of a gallery wrapped canvas. Its beautiful! The nice thing about canvas’ are that they are big enough to cover a wall, they are truely a work of art… AND they come ready to hang. These canvas’ are available in color and black & white and come in a variety of sizes!

I got to photograph little Ella who just turned one! Ella is a beauty and her grandmother Marcy is too :) Ella was very well behaved during her session, although she didn’t want to smile much for us — that was until we got her outside in the leaves! Enjoy your sneak peek!
