Meet baby Emerson who just turned 2 weeks old. Isn’t she beautiful? It took us a little while to get this little sweetie to get sleepy, but once she did she was a complete angel. Enjoy your sneak peek, H family! I can’t wait to watch Emerson and her big brothers and sister grow up

I knew from the day I met Paige & Kevin that I would have a blast shooting their wedding. Jerry and I both graduated from Purdue and so did Paige & Kevin (although we are older… but shhhh) and they were returning to Boilermaker country to become husband and wife. You might remember this couple from their engagement session in Chicago here .

They had areas around campus that they definitely wanted to visit for pictures and I have to say it was soooo nice to have so much time with them and their wedding party. Usually we are super crunched for time, but this group was up for just about anything. If you are from Indiana or have been to Purdue, you understand the significance of some of these locations including Harrys and the Boilermaker Special

And those of you from Purdue, we were getting ready in the Union… I cannot believe how much it has changed since we went to school there!

Paige’s dad is a minister and officiated part of the wedding ceremony. It was truly beautiful.

This wedding party was a blast

We REALLY had to fight for this shot. Harry’s has been around Purdue for a very long time… and it’s a bar. They weren’t going to let us in because none of us were carrying our IDs. HAHA! Here we were, with tons of camera equipment and a full bridal party on the train… and yet… they weren’t going to let us in, haha! Thankfully, they changed their minds and we were able to get behind the bar

These are dear friends of mine, Marie and Steve… and they are getting ready to welcome their first child into the world. Baby boy Lucas is due this fall and I cannot wait to meet him. I am so happy for my friends and I couldn’t help but get a tear in my eye as I edited a few of these for their sneak peek. Marie… you are simply stunning… glowing inside and out. I can’t wait to meet him!!!

This weekend Jerry and I traveled out to the small town of Marshall, Illinois right over the Indiana border to capture Abby & Scott’s wedding day for them. It was a pleasure getting to know them and they welcomed us into their day with tons of small town charm The rain stopped for all of the pictures and everything went exactly as planned. I met up with the Gail family in anticipation for baby boy #2 Aren’t they a cute family? Jill has the most perfect baby bump — completely 100% all baby! Their 2 year old Noah was just as cute as he could be as well and while we weren’t sure if he really knows there is a baby in there, he was sure to tell me all about the deer in the woods nearby where we were taking our photos, haha What a cutie!

I got to meet up this past weekend with another baby on my baby plan this weekend, Chloe. I haven’t seen her since her newborn session and she has grown so much! Adorable and full of smiles and doing well with her head lifts I also got a chance to meet her older sisters at this session, and couldn’t help but include them in a few shots Enjoy your sneak peek K Family! Ever since I met Hannah, I knew their wedding was going to be something special. A country girl at heart marrying a farmer, their day was filled with love and kindness. Jerry and I talked about how kind everyone was that we met through this couple, and I still must say it again Those of you visiting this blog entry who were a part of Hannah & Karl’s special day… THANK YOU for being so wonderful to us while we were there and making it easy to do our job

Their wedding took place in their hometown and the reception took place at the farm that Karl runs… but I am not lying when I tell you that when I walked into the reception hall that my mouth dropped open when I saw the decorations! You would have never known this place was normally filled with farming equipment!

Did I mention that Karl is tall? Yes, its true. But I’m telling you that they make the perfect couple.

Hannah’s dress had a corset, and those things are not easy to figure out. We played … “how many bridesmaids does it take to figure out a dress?” hahaha And look… they even have directions
